Life and its Infinite Line Segment

Infinite Road at MahalaxmiRaceCourse
Nothing gets better than sitting in the summer breeze. I watch the grass dancing in the wind. A man goes by on his tractor. People jogging are too busy engrossed in themselves and barely spare me a glance.

I make myself get up from the bench. Ahead of me lies an infinite road. Infinite because it has no beginning and no end. It is circular.

Numbers are infinite, the universe is infinite and so is the number eight (just kidding!) But the line is the most intriguing infinite thing of all. You can extend it in both ways.Time is like a line. Think about it. Do you believe time had a beginning or will have an end? Whatever happens to the Earth, time isn't going to stop. EVER. And I think that's pretty intense.

Life on the other hand is like a line segment. Everyone hopes it is a long one for them! You start your journey by a collision and end it with a system error that leads to a complete breakdown. A fixed beginning, and an unknown yet definite end.

Although sometimes, line segments extend too, you know? Like an imaginary dotted line segment that keeps reeling away. People may have finished their life, but that doesn't mean it's the end for them. They're remembered for millenniums. And in that, another infinity is created.

In that infinity too, we have countless memories. There are memories of today, yesterday, last month and a year ago. Once made, memories last forever in our mind. They never end. And on most occasions, you keep making even more until your head is engulfed by them. They're like rays - beautiful, unique and everlasting although they have a definite beginning. Some of them are ugly, but when you come to think about it, harmful, harmless and helpful rays all exist, don't they?

Time is like a line. Maybe that's why we have "timelines."
Memories and rays share similarities. They go on till forever and ever.
And life is like a line segment having a possibility of ending at its own tiny infinity.

The blog just completed two years of its line segment. I'm hoping the line segment is a tiny infinity in itself too. xD

THANKS SO MUCH FOR READING AND WATCHING THE BLOG GROW! LOVE YOU GUYS <3
