Planning to be a fool tomorrow? No? Check this out!

Just think about it. There could be a wide variety of fools in this world. Forget the obvious differences in tall fools, fat fools, energetic fools or lazy ones; we also have innocent fools, silly fools, funny fools, lovable ones and fools that are simply fools! But there is this special fool (that you get to become only once in a year, mind you) and that is an April Fool!

With April Fools Day round the corner, we thought we would write about new tricks. Fortunately or unfortunately (it's up to you to decide), none came to our mind. We were on the verge of pulling our hair out and banging our head to the wall (well, not really but you get the idea!). But then we thought, wouldn't it actually be much more fun to sit back and enjoy being fooled? Yes, you may end up having toothpaste on your face, sore vocal chords on seeing fake insects and snakes and persistently be pestered by prank calls but trust us, it would be worth it. 1st April comes only once a year so why not make the most of it?

Being crowned the biggest fool, you may make memories you would have never had. They say fools seldom differ but by doing this, you will be the most innovative fool ever! So this April Fools, stop thinking about how you will win the prank war but try loosing it instead. By making others laugh and bringing a smile on their face, you will have won it anyways! :)

Note: The only catch to this is that your friends should be planning to fool you!

Chetan Bhagat's Three Steps to Success

"98% of the DNA of human beings and chimpanzees is the same. For some it may be 99% (which is the same) but the similarity tends to range in between 98-99. To ask this human being to crack an IIT exam is no joke!" - Chetan Bhagat.

At one point in our life, generally when we are in tenth grade, we have to choose which career we have to take up in our future. Totally confused by the plethora of options, I thought I'd try and choose the other way by eliminating the options. In the end I was left with journalism and engineering, both of them poles apart. Now due to various reasons I decided to do IIT, and just came home after attending a seminar given by Chetan Bhagat...

A few people may call this a waste of time, but it was quite interesting. To sum it up, to succeed in IIT (and as I believe in life as well), the first thing you require is motivation. Motivation gives you the want to do something - without motivation, you won't feel like pursuing you goal....Mr. Chetan Bhagat talked about how the want to be 'rich', the desire to stand on his feet and come up played a big part in whatever he did - from cracking IIT to writing a book and making a movie!

He then talked about 'Breaking Stuff into Pieces'. 'You cannot eat a triple decker cake in a go - you have to CUT it into pieces!' Similarly, when you study (in this case), you have to make an action plan, a reasonable one that too. Stick to your plan and enjoy for the rest of the time! :D

And finally, the importance of having a good peer group. One group of friends may call you a nerd and say, 'Paagal, abhi padhke kyun saad raha hain!', whereas the other group of friends could make you want to experiment, try new stuff, use your creativity and have fun!

Everyone is aware about 'The Three Mistakes of his life' but I bet you didn't know about the 'Three Steps to Success'!

Randomly Bored?...Let's Blog!

How nice is it when someone tells you 'Welcome Randomly'?
And how ironic is it that the new google doodle of the day is 'Happy Birthday randomly' as well?
Well, that's what happened when we thought of keeping our username as randomly hilarious. [And obviously, Google's name policy rejected it.]

Wait, just realised we've still not introduced ourselves yet! Well, it's Aditi and Kanksha on the line. Getting bored of an extra long vacation after tenth grade, we thought we'd try our luck in blogging. So get set to go on a roller coaster ride of a few crazy and random ideas to kill time at your pace!

Like for starters how about trying to light up an LED from a lemon??
