I was asked to switch desks on the first day of my internship,
and shifting desks, for those who don’t know, does not include switching desks
but consists of switching the desktop
and everything to go with it.
“Does that mean I need to shift my CPU as well?” I timidly
asked the person whom I was shifting desks with.
That question was probably the most embarrassing question I
have ever asked anyone in my life. I noticeably cringed the minute I said it
out loud. Obviously you have to.
I’ve done multiple stupid things lately. I typed out a to-be created
password in a field visible to the person who was helping me set up my desktop
where something else had to be typed (did he realise I did that, I hope he didn’t) and
I also made pizza which was a wonderful thing, but I dropped it while trying to
take a video of my making it, which was not a wonderful thing.
Here’s how I almost ruined my pizza. Almost because it didn’t
fall flat on its face.
Why was I taking a video of the day in the first place?
I have been capturing small moments everyday about good things that happen to me or simply things that made me happy on that day. Sometimes it becomes something devastating as a falling pizza, at times it's just a post run video of the sea right across. It could be of my friends being stupid or my family being my family.
And it is insane how many nice things do happen and how less we remember.
Most often, things just happen. Sometimes on the other hand, you make them happen. How?
#ProTip: Put this as your profile picture. Maybe just someone will get you free cake.
(THANK YOU FOR GETTING ME CAKE yes two of my friends came under my house and got me cake just like that because this was my profile picture and I think it was a more than cool surprise.)
Lots of love, cake, and safety for your pizza and you,
Kanksha <3
