How I dropped my Pizza

I was asked to switch desks on the first day of my internship, and shifting desks, for those who don’t know, does not include switching desks but consists of switching the desktop and everything to go with it.

Does that mean I need to shift my CPU as well?” I timidly asked the person whom I was shifting desks with.

That question was probably the most embarrassing question I have ever asked anyone in my life. I noticeably cringed the minute I said it out loud. Obviously you have to.

I’ve done multiple stupid things lately. I typed out a to-be created password in a field visible to the person who was helping me set up my desktop where something else had to be typed (did he realise I did that, I hope he didn’t) and I also made pizza which was a wonderful thing, but I dropped it while trying to take a video of my making it, which was not a wonderful thing.

Here’s how I almost ruined my pizza. Almost because it didn’t fall flat on its face.

Why was I taking a video of the day in the first place?
I have been capturing small moments everyday about good things that happen to me or simply things that made me happy on that day. Sometimes it becomes something devastating as a falling pizza, at times it's just a post run video of the sea right across. It could be of my friends being stupid or my family being my family.
And it is insane how many nice things do happen and how less we remember.

Most often, things just happen. Sometimes on the other hand, you make them happen. How?

#ProTip: Put this as your profile picture. Maybe just someone will get you free cake.

(THANK YOU FOR GETTING ME CAKE yes two of my friends came under my house and got me cake just like that because this was my profile picture and I think it was a more than cool surprise.)

Lots of love, cake, and safety for your pizza and you,

Aloe Vera and Tomatoes

Give me this Aloe Vera,
It may just keep me cool.
This summer heat
makes me want to jump into a pool.

My father made this arrangement

The tomatoes look quite pretty
I think I may just blush
And that will create even more heat
That'll shoo away people from India in a rush. ;)
*cough* Justin Bieber *cough*

Clicked after my run today - the view never disappoints
I have a math exam in a couple of days,
But my mind is completely astray.
By the sun and sea that always slays,
And how the pronunciation stays same for hay and hey.

You can faintly see the spider web

There are fifty shades of purple in this flower
Only a few can be seen at this hour.
Currently all I desire?
Not a flower but a cold water shower.

IT IS SO HOT.
Stay hydrated,
Kanksha

Lemonade Sale Update

I had a lemonade sale for charity with my friends at Marine drive a week ago.

It was an amazing experience and left me feeling elated with how it turned out. The lemonade we received was donated itself which saved us the hardwork of making it and I had a great time making the posters with my cousin Diya. (I wouldn't have made them if not for her)

Confused and with no idea of how to begin selling it, we *surprise surprise* made ₹500 that day in twenty minutes till we were sold out. *Feels so proud* I have no idea how it happened!

Thanks to everyone who drank for a cause!

And to the team of nine without whom this wouldn't have been possible :')

Now, if you had taken a picture of the poster, you must have come here to check what we have done with the money.

Motivated by the response, we plan to do this once again, with four times the ammunition before we donate the money altogether.

Hope to see you again - or any of you who lives closeby and didn't find us last time. Will keep you informed through an event I'll create on Facebook.

Also do like my Facebook page to stay updated, I promise we'll put the money to good use!

(Short post but I had informed whoever bought a cup that I'd update them in a weeks time and it felt wrong not doing so)
