What she did

Lying around for a while in bed,
She let the cloudy skies in her head clear.
It was time to do what her heart and brain said,
And take the road not taken instead,

There wasn't anything left to fear.
No more sadness.
Being lost was forgotten.
Nothing left to confess.
It was time to clear up the mess.

Gone were the thoughts that were rotten.
But what does she want?
That was the priceless question.
To figure that out,
She struggled a lot,
It required tremendous procrastination.

Finally she had a goal.
It was time to become the protagonist of her own book.
The plot in her hands, all she needed to do was play her role,
And eventually meticulously fix all the loopholes,
(Also probably learn how to cook?)

Anticipation to start something new
Fires through her as she begins each target lightening fast.
What bothers a few,
And creeps into her mind too,
Is how long will it last?

This is the second part to "What does she do then." If you missed that post, you can check it out here.

Many times we mess up, or things don't go as we plan. It seems as if there is no hope. In reality, there is always hope. What she does is starts building on thee tiny speck of hope and tries to transform the tiny raindrop into a rainbow.

So it has been literally ages (as usual) since I wrote. I was initially busy with an essay for a competition held by the UNESCO and set off to Europe following that so.... :P
I'm planning to alternate every post with one on my journey, so stay in touch and go follow on our facebook page if you haven't already!

Hope you liked it!
Thanks for reading!
