What should you do?

Very recently, a friend of mine got inappropriately touched by a man in the metro. It's just plain disappointing how these incidents keep happening.

I know that the same has happened to someone I know in a crowded train as well and the girl was too confused to say anything at that point. She regretted not doing anything about it once she had time to think but by then, of course, it was too late.

But that is probably why, when I went to Lamington road today and through a couple of lanes, I came back to the main road quite immediately because the lack of women made me feel unsafe.

This post isn't to generalize how men are, or blame the entire male population for the same. I think what is important right now, except educating men, is what women should do when they're caught in these situations unaware.

Don't be embarrassed, just take hold of his hand and scream.

You'll probably feel extremely weird and shy, maybe even disgusted(you shouldn't), but don't let any of that stop you from exposing him for what he did.

Basically don't just let it go because you don't deserve that.

Short post, but I felt like it had to be said.
